Finnish defenseman Joni Pitkanen used this Easton composite gamer while helping his country to a bronze medal in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic men’s hockey tournament. Pitkanen contributed a goal and two assists in five games for Finland, including a helper to set up Olli Jokinen’s game-winning goal in a 5-3 victory over Slovakia in the bronze-medal game at Canada Hockey Place on February 27. Easton SE16 has “Pitkanen” and “25” screened on the front of the shaft. Joni’s #25 is also handwritten in black marker on the front of his white tape knob. Pitkanen’s black bulldog tape job also remains intact on the blade with a puck gouge offering evidence of light but clear game use. CCM helmet with an Oakley visor features “Vancouver 2010” decal with Olympic rings on the front. Decals with Pitkanen’s #25 appear on the back above another “Vancouver 2010” decal. This Olympic gamer is the correct model used by Pitkanen during the tournament. Light game wear shows in scrapes and scratches. Comes with an LOA.
