Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
It is difficult to recall a recent big-ticket event in which Team Canada took part without the great Martin Brodeur between the pipes. Martin has answered his country's call on numerous occasions and wore this striking black Team Canada uniform in a pre-tournament match for the 2004 World Cup. Brodeur saw action wearing this jersey in the August 28, 2004 tilt against Slovakia but game wear is very light with only a few stick marks. Neck tagging includes the Nike label in size 58G and the IIHF tag. The vintage-style includes a laced tie-neck and a heritage maple leaf Team Canada crest at the chest. Stylish numerals on the back boast a perfect Martin Brodeur signature and he has added his player number "30" in black Sharpie. Comes complete with a letter of authenticity from Hockey Canada detailing the date of the game.
