Two of hockey's greatest legends - Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky - are featured in this lot of memorabilia items from Claude Lapointe's personal collection. Gordie placed a fine silver paint pen autograph in the middle of his red twill number "9" sewn on the back of a white size 56 Red Wings jersey with a captain's "C" on the left breast, a "Howe" nameplate on the back, and Bauer embroidered in red on the right tail. Gretzky is featured in a pair of Upper Deck Authenticated Collectibles 22KT gold card sets produced by the Danbury Mint. The "Rookie and Career Cards" set booklet features two gold UDA Gretzky cards, a "Rookie" card in his Oilers uniform and a "Career" card featuring an image of the Great One with the Rangers. The "Championship Cards" set includes four gold UDA Gretzky cards, one commemorating each of his Stanley Cup wins with the Edmonton Oilers. Rounding out the lot is ticket from the Colorado Avalanche's first home game against Detroit on October 6, 1995. This Howe & Gretzky memorabilia lot comes with Claude Lapointe's signed LOA.
