Claude Lapointe's 15-year NHL career was well in his future when he helped lead the Lac St. Louis Lions to the 1985 Air Canada Cup title as the country's midget AAA champions. The trophy presented to Claude as the tournament's best forward is featured along with Lapointe's game-worn jersey, his 1985 Air Canada Cup gold medal and his "2nd Star" silver medal. A pair of snapshots are included, one showing Lapointe wearing his #10 Air Canada Cup jersey with the gold medal around his neck, and the other with him in his Lions team jacket holding his Best Forward trophy under his right arm. Topped with a silver-colored bowl on a two-level wood base, the trophy stands 11" tall with a plaque with the tournament logo and "1985 Coupe Air Canada Cup Best Forward" engraved on it. Cooper and CAHA Approved fly tags remain in the neck of Lapointe's #10 game-worn "Quebec" jersey with an Air Canada Cup crest sewn on the front and smaller patches sewn on both sleeves. Comes with Claude Lapointe's signed LOA.
