Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Claude Lapointe's lot of Philadelphia Flyers memorabilia includes his game-used hockey pants, helmet and gloves. Loads of game wear is apparent on the black pants with an orange CCM embroidered patch sewn on the back of the right leg and rusted buttons all around the hip. Lapointe's white Itech helmet had its Flyers decals removed and comes without a chin strap. Black fabric CCM Tacks 892 gloves exhibit plenty of game use, including a large hole worn through the palm of the right glove at the little finger. An oil-on-canvas 20x16 portrait of Lapointe in his Flyers uniform painted by Diane BeRube and dated 2004 is mounted in a 25" x 21" frame. A few miscellaneous Flyers items round out this lot which comes with Claude Lapointe's signed LOA.
