Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
The Flower’s distinctively white tape job on the handle and knob of this Chimo stick make it clear that it was used by Guy Lafleur at the tail end of his NHL career. “Lafleur G 10” is stamped on the front of the shaft of this gamer, which is the type of stick Guy used during his final two seasons with the Quebec Nordiques in the late-1980s and early-1990s. The battered NHL tape band remains on the lower part of the shaft. A piece of the bottom edge of the blade is missing where the middle section of Guy’s black bulldog tape job was removed, though overall this well-used Lafleur gamer is still very solid and remains a great display piece. Comes with a Spivack & Kraut LOA.
