Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011

Signed Vincent Lecavalier game-used Koho stick dates from his 1997-98 junior season with the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL. Vinnie, who placed a black marker signature across the white tape on the front of the blade, was chosen first overall by Tampa Bay in the 1998 NHL draft after scoring 44 goals and 71 assists in 58 games to once again surpass 100 points in his second and final season in the Q. Vinnie's original tape jobs on the knob, shaft and blade remain intact on this two-piece junior gamer, originally obtained from Lecavalier's father. Plenty of obvious game use and there is a chip along the top edge of the wood blade insert to note, though the bottom edge remains fully intact despite the worn-through white tape.
