Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Rookie left wing Brent Hughes wore this Winnipeg Jets gamer when he made his NHL debut in 1988-89. Blue CCM air-knit game-worn jersey has size 52 written in faded blue ballpoint on the fly tag in the neck. "Goals for Kids" patch is sewn above the double-twill #46 on the left sleeve and white twill surname letters are sewn on a blue twill nameplate. The fight strap is intact. Hughes amassed 82 penalty minutes in 28 games, which helps account for the dried bloodstain on the right shoulder. More game wear shows in black marks on the Jets crest on the front, "4" in the #46 on the back and on the right sleeve, as well as blue paint transfer on a board burn on the left sleeve. Comes with an LOA.
