Tempting lot of three Peter Forsberg game-used pieces includes his 2002-03 Colorado Avalance game-worn alternate captain's jersey. As stated in the MeiGray LOA which accompanies the jersey, Forsberg's #21 gamer is from the Avalanche's third season set, which means the Swedish superstar wore it during Colorado's first-round playoff loss to Minnesota. Stick marks on the front, black marks outline an unrepaired slash cut/board burn on the bottom of the left elbow and a crescent-shaped slash cut remains on the left side of the front of the jersey. Red paint transfer appears farther up the left sleeve, including through the #21, and stitching has let go on the top of the front seam of the collar. A size 58 "Made in Canada" Canadian flag fly tag is sewn into the neck and the fight strap is intact. MeiGray "NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2002-2003 Season" tag sewn inside the rear hem. Forsberg has signed in black marker across the now-bare blade of his wood Titan ASD Exchange 8000, which retains his tape job on the knob and displays light but clear game use. "Forsberg" is screened in white on the back of the cuff of Forsberg's right Jofa ASD 8000 glove, which exhibits very light wear.
