Ryan Miller, the go-to-guy in the nets in Buffalo, also starred as goaltender for the US Olympic Team at the 2010 Games in Vancouver. As a college player for the Michigan State University Spartans, Miller set an NCAA record with 26 career shutouts and was the winner of the Hobey Baker Award in 2001, when he led the country in wins, winning percentage, save percentage (an NCAA record .950 mark), goals-against average and shutouts (an NCAA record 10). Offered is Ryan's striking goalie mask, custom-made by Warwick, worn during the 2001-02 season while with the Spartans. The colorful paint scheme features a menacing Spartan warrior at the forehead with his muscled arms wrapping down to the chin. Complete with a painted backplate with "Miller Time" and crossed flag motif, the mask is complete with all interior padding and strapping. Miller had added a bold, black marker signature down on the lower right side and another player has signed opposite. The makers and painters are identified inside in marker with their signatures and the mask will come with a letter sent between Warwick and Miller and a number of digital images showing Miller wearing this exact mask. Also included, the original padded mask bag with Warwick identifier.
[red]Addendum; It appears that the second signature would be the one of the legendary MSU Coach; Ron Mason.[/red]
