A fantastic piece from Dominik Hasek's early years of dominance in Buffalo, this combination Cooper SK2000 model helmet and cage mask can be photo-matched to a couple of hockey cards issued during the '95-96 season, revealing that "The Dominator" used it during '94-95 when he claimed the second of his six Vezina trophies as the NHL's most outstanding goalie. Intriguing is this somewhat crude style that Hasek stuck with throughout his surely Hall of Fame career. The "Sabres" decal on the front and its placement over "Cooper" helps photo match the mask, the helmet of which includes two Sabres logo decals and Dominik's number "39" on the back. Helmet comes with an additional eight high resolution numeric photos of Hasek wearing that mask in 1994-95 including an additionnal photo match to a scratch in the Cooper lettering on the left side of the helmet. Mask shows nice game use with scrapes and scratches to the helmet, light spots of rust on the cage and wear to the chin padding. Overall, the mask is in excellent condition and gets one to contemplating Hasek's formidable career which has included two Hart trophies as the league's most valuable player.
