Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
What a great old style! Fourteen tackle-twill stars, individually applied, decorate this heavy red mesh Washington Capitals uniform worn by long-time NHL'er Doug Jarvis. Jarvis started out his career in Montreal, making the jump to the Caps in 1982-83 before moving on to the Whalers midway through the 1985-86 season. The neck tagging is no longer present but the CCM patch with the small registration mark is sewn onto the outer tail. Game wear includes a handful of black stick marks, a few board burns, some red board paint transfer and a single team repair and is photo-matched to the triangle-shaped mark on the right shoulder.
