It was hats off to Maurice Richard in this cool framed photo signed by Jean Beliveau. Spirits were light in this locker room scene of Big Jean clowning with the Rocket during the Montreal Canadiens’ record run of five straight Stanley Cups in the late 1950s. Beliveau has added his number 4 to his elegant blue sharpie signature at the top of this remarkably detailed modern 14” x 11” print, a shot of him placing a second hat on the Rocket, who is already wearing a fedora, likely in the wake of another one of his legendary three-goal games. This lively image of two of the Habs’ iconic superstars at the height of their powers is elegantly displayed in a black-and-white double matte with white accents and mounted in an 18 1/4” x 22 1/8” black frame. “#4 Jean Beliveau Montreal Canadiens” is engraved on a silver-colored plaque at the bottom of the frame. Another hat trick for the Rocket with a huge assist from Beliveau!
