Remarkable original painting signed by the Class of 2008 was commissioned by the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was painted live over the course of the induction ceremony by renowned sports artist David Arrigo, whose artwork graces the masks of several NHL goalies, including Carey Price. Glenn Anderson has signed with the number "9" the Oilers retired in his honor. Igor Larionov has added the number "8" he wore while winning three Stanley Cups with Detroit. Longtime NHL linesman Ray Scapinello has signed "HHOF 08". This oil painting on canvas, which was auctioned at the end of the evening, is displayed on a 2' x 4' wood frame on the reverse. The three pictures the artist used for the portraits are attached to the back. Also included is a framed display featuring pucks signed by Anderson and Larionov. Each has signed their respective "honored member" pictures applied to a pair of souvenir pucks mounted on a blow-up of the induction party invitation displayed in an 11 7/8" x 17 5/8" black frame, one of 36 which were made and given to participants in Anderson's fantasy camp that weekend.
