New York Rangers legend Frank Boucher placed a dedicated signature inside the front cover of his "When the Rangers Were Young" book shortly before his death at the age of 76. Boucher, who died on December 12, 1977, placed a marvelous pencil autograph in flowing script at the end of his hand-printed "Dec. 1977, To Lorne, with very best wishes from Frank Boucher" dedication on the red textured page inside the front cover of his 1973 book. Boucher, who was inducted into the HOF in 1958, recounts his 30 years as a player, coach and GM in the early days of the Rangers in this entertaining 244-page read co-written by Trent Frayne, who won the HOF's Elmer Ferguson Award in 1984. Comes with an LOA.
