Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011

Some really nice and some really not so nice cards to tell you about here, with the lowdown on Topps' ever-popular '64-65 "tall boy" set as follows. There is a rather serious issue affecting second series cards, starting at #56 and running through to #92. All have water/moisture damage affecting both the front and back of the upper right corner. Too bad, because otherwise they're generally crease-free with original gloss. Eight first series cards are similar, with the other first series examples averaging EX and highlighted by Hull, Mikita, Beliveau, Crozier and Richard at EX+ or a tad better. Other notables include 102-Horton (EX+), 105-Horton AS (EX-MT), 107-Hull AS (EX-MT OC) and 110-Hall (VG), while the two checklists are marked neatly and crease-free. Several possibilities here.
