Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Wayne Gretzky is among 13 members of the Edmonton Oilers, including Kurri, Anderson, Lowe and Semenko, whose vintage signatures appear on the front of the shaft of Ken Linseman's game-used Sher-Wood P.M.P. 7000. Mark Messier has signed in black marker low on the shaft of his crack-free P.M.P. 7000 with "Messier 11" stamped below the knob, which retains his original tape job as does the blade. Jari Kurri's fine black marker signature is low on the shaft of his game-used Koho with his original tape jobs and "17" written in black marker below the knob and "Kurri" stamped low on the front of the shaft. A "Coffey 77" Sher-Wood 5030 gamer from after his days with the Oilers is signed on the white tape job on the blade by Coffey, whose tape job on the knob is also intact. Glenn Anderson's Canadien and Kevin Lowe's Vic gamers with original tape jobs are also included along with an Andy Moog Christian gamer that has a broken blade at the heel which is held together by added white tape.
