Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
A travelling clock given to coach Tommy Ivan the night before the fourth annual NHL All-Star Game in 1950 is the highlight here, with Ivan's Red Wings pummeling the all-stars 7-1 at Detroit's Olympia as Ted Lindsay scored the first hat trick in all-star game history. Also obtained from Ivan's nephew are a vintage all-wool Black Hawks cap (size XL) with swell embroidered and tackle twill crest, a pair of cuff links and a set of six coasters, all with old style Indian head logos. A few small moth holes in the cap to mention but otherwise all items have survived in tiptop shape.
