Stunning gold ring is a salesman sample, a replica of the one presented to Bobby Hull after he helped lead the Black Hawks to the NHL's regular season championship in 1969-70. Chicago and Boston actually finished tied with 99 points but the Hawks had five more wins than the Bruins and were awarded the Prince of Wales Trophy. The face features a huge cubic zircon surrounded by 12 smaller ones and "69-70 NHL Champions" in raised lettering. One shank features the famous Hawks Indian head logo along with "Chicago" and "Harmony." The other shank includes the American and Canadian flags and a raised image of the Wales trophy. "B. Hull" is above and "Pride" below. A scripted "B. Hull" is inscribed on the inside band where "Josten's 10K" also appears with the engraved sample number "B3625-1" and the name "J.Doellefeld". The size 10 1/2 ring commemorating a championship season exhibits very minor wear and remains in superb condition.
