Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
The "S" in the crossed-tomahawks patches on the shoulder identify this as a Sorel Black Hawks game-worn jersey. Jean-Francois Boutin wore this circa 1976 #27 gamer for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team, which was also known as the Eperviers. Loads of wear in the form of stick marks, paint transfer, board burns and team repairs on this junior gamer. The magnificent Black Hawks team crest on the front that features multi-colored embroidery on the gold twill Indian head. No tagging remains in the neck, so we measure it as size 46. Black twill numbers are sewn on the back and both sleeves and twill surname letters are sewn onto the nameplate.
