Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Two dandy programs from different mid-1930s seasons here depict Hall-of-Famers Joe Primeau and Red Horner, with the former from February 9, 1935 and a Maple Leafs' Saturday night game against the Montreal Maroons. All Leafs are pictured/profiled in the 72-page EX pub, with the original owner witnessing a 4-2 Toronto win. The Red Wings were the visitors, (and 4-2 winners), the night the Horner publication was issued (December 14, 1935). Beauty near mint affair is curiously just 12 pages, with the pages mysteriously numbered 17, 17A, 17B, 18, 35-38, 55, 55A, 55B, 56, but with no apparent pages missing.
