Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Terrific Montreal Canadiens team jacket like the ones players on hockey's greatest dynasty used to sport in the 1950s, this lined cotton affair features that splendid chenille Canadiens crest and originally was presented to Joe Delguidice, a Habs scout from 1952 to 1968. Exhibiting only light wear, the jacket features stretchy red, white and blue knit collar, cuffs and hem in great shape and includes a "Moose Sporting Goods" label. Rather even browning/toning with some staining visible is to mention, along with the crossed Union Jack and U.S. flags chenille patch on the left sleeve. Provenance documents, will be included. Cool!
