The Montreal Canadiens' famous Punch Line of the 1940s is honored in this exquisite framed montage. Vintage individual autographs from Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Elmer Lach and Hector "Toe" Blake, all broad original blue-ink signatures, are displayed in 2 1/2" x 4" cutouts in the black-and-white double matte beneath a 10" x 17 1/2" modern print of a black-and-white photo of the Rocket, Lach and Blake seated on the bench with their leather gloves resting atop the boards. Detailed plaque at the bottom of the 23 1/2" x 27 1/2" black frame has "Montreal Canadiens, ?The Punch Line'" engraved on it along with the names of all three linemates and the notation that they were Stanley Cup champions together in 1944 and 1946.
