One of the all-time most popular covers of the number one hockey magazine of the 1950s is the May, 1958 issue featuring this image of hockey god Maurice Richard and son Normand. The original painting is the work of famed sports artist, Dewitt "Tex" Coulter, an all-star football player who became artistic director for "Blueline" magazine and who swiftly used his paintings on the covers. The magazines are coveted just imagine how prized the paintings are! Brushed on artist board, measuring approximately 16" by 20" and in its original bevelled wooden frame, the painting includes the names of both father and son written in faint white in the bottom portion. An incredible piece being offered to the hobby for the first time, the tantalizing masterpiece will come with an LOA from the Richard family.
