Howie Morenz is seated in the front row of this huge vintage 1933-34 Montreal Canadiens team picture, the Habs icon's last season before he was traded to Chicago. Aurele Joliat is also seated in front with goalie Lorne Chabot between the two Canadiens greats. Fellow HOFer Sylvio Mantha is at the far left and Gagnon, Lepine and Burke are also in the front row. Coach Newsy Lalonde is standing at the far right of the back row along with players Raymond, Bourgault, Carson, Riley, Mondou, Godin, Larochelle and Georges Mantha and trainer Davis. Owners Dandurand and Cattarinich, both in the HOF as builders, appear in inset photos in the top corners. This original premium picture measures roughly 14" x 21" and is displayed in a slightly larger black frame. To note is water staining along the length of the bottom edge.
