Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
As the NHL work stoppage of 1994 dragged into a second month, the league's locked-out players kept busy by staging the NHLPA 4-on-4 Challenge. Patrick Roy (Quebec), Brett Hull (USA), Doug Gilmour (Ontario) and Joe Sakic (Western Canada) were among the superstars who took part in the four-team tournament held at Hamilton's Copps Coliseum from November 10-12. Offered here from Vincent Damphousse's personal collection are his light blue #25 Team Quebec game-worn jersey and socks. Bauer Pro Wear and size 54 fly tags remain in the neck of this beauty with Ronald McDonald Children's Charities of Canada and Kraft patches sewn on the front and professional twill numbers and surname letters on a nameplate. Superb red-white-and-blue triple twill NHLPA logo crest sewn on the front has a big black mark running through the player's body. Comes with Vincent Damphousse's signed LOA.
