Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
From Vincent Damphousse's personal collection comes this plaque presented to him by the San Jose Sharks to commemorate what would prove to be the final hat trick of his career. Vinnie recorded his only three-goal game for the Sharks against Vancouver on April 3, 1999. He tallied three times on Garth Snow, adding an assist in a 5-2 win over the Canucks. A Sharks official NHL game puck is mounted on the front of the 8" x 10" wood plaque with two small screws from the reverse. A plaque on the bottom is engraved with his name, "First Hat Trick as a San Jose Shark", along with the opponent, result and date. Vinnie has added his #25 to his big, bold black marker autograph on the reverse. Comes with Vincent Damphousse's signed LOA.
