It was ten goals in ten games and a silver medal for Vaclav Nedomansky at the 1974 World Championships, his last of nine such competitions with the Czech national team before defecting and joining the WHA's Toronto Toros that fall. Top scorer and selected to the tournament all-star team, Nedomansky in 1974 also won the IIHF Directorate Best Forward Award. Later elected to the IIHF Hall of Fame for his exceptional international career, "Big Ned" will sign a letter of authenticity to be included with this, another captivating award. It has been preserved with pride in perfect condition, with a bit of soiling to the cream-colored "Huguenin" box.
