From Vaclav Nedomansky's first-ever appearance at a major international event with the Czechoslovakian national team comes this silver medal, captured by the Czechs at the 1965 tournament in Tampere, Finland. The 21-year old Nedomansky potted four goals and two assists in seven games, with the Soviets taking the gold and Sweden the bronze. A superb raised image of a hat-wearing goalie, "1965" and the maker's "Huguenin" name appear on the 2-3/8" in diameter award, in near perfect condition and contained in its original EX box. Obtained directly from Vaclav Nedomansky, with his signed LOA to be included.
