Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Sher-Wood gamer was used by Hall of Fame defenseman Raymond Bourque during the 2001 playoffs when he finally reached hockey's summit by winning the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche. This Bourque playoff gamer comes from the personal collection of fellow HOFer Bryan Trottier, who claimed his seventh Cup as an assistant coach with the Avs. The black Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 has "Bourque 77" printed on the front of the shaft and Ray has placed a black marker signature on the front of the heel. Sensational playoff gamer retains Bourque's tape jobs on the knob and blade, which has a chip missing from the toe. The stick is otherwise intact and it remains in fine display condition. Comes with Bryan Trottier's signed LOA.
