Jackie Robinson is listed second in the batting order on the scorecard in the middle of this vintage 1946 Montreal Royals official game program. With averages updated as of May 19th, No. 9 Robinson was batting .314 as the Royals prepared to face the Toronto Maple Leafs at the tail end of Montreal's second homestand of the historic 1946 International League season when Jackie broke professional baseball's color barrier. Original pencil scoring remains on the Toronto lineup though all on the Royals' page has been virtually erased. A 1945 Royals program is also included along with a vintage Babe Ruth single reel 8mm film titled "King of Swat, in Perfect Control" in its original Castle Films box. An official National League baseball from the late-1970s is signed by Hall-of-Famers Gary Carter, Tony Perez and Dick Williams among other Expos such as Staub, Fryman, Cash, White, Hutton, Alou and Brewer. Pittsburgh slugger Dave Parker has signed beneath coaches Mullin and Sherry.
