Here's a great rarity from the NHL's abbreviated first venture to St. Louis, an original 1935 game program from the ill-fated Eagles' only season. The cover of this fascinating copy of the "Eagleye" game program from the February 12, 1935 game against the New York Rangers at the St. Louis Arena has "New York 5, Eagles 1" handwritten in pencil on the upper left side. Great 1930s cover artwork shows off the colorful red-white-and-blue uniform of the Eagles, who finished dead last in the nine-team NHL with an 11-31-6 mark. This 16-page original St. Louis Eagles game program is in excellent-plus condition, complete and fully intact with the lineups of both the Rangers and the Eagles featured in the centerfold.
