Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Remarkable game gear from yesteryear with this captivating thin green sweater that features burgundy-striped sleeves and the original D & M (Draper & Maynard) tag sewn in the inner hear hem. Beside it is a red-on-white size 40 tag, while the crossed hockey sticks on the front and the "11" on the back are in cream-colored felt. Game use is evidenced by the five stitch jobs on the front, three on the left sleeve, two on the right and two on the back, most of them rectangular repairs done back in the day. The neckline is ripped by the left shoulder and some two dozen small holes appear to be the work of moths. Fabulous relic is joined by a beauty one-piece stick with "Broadmount Amateur" stamped on each side. In amazing like-new condition and one half of a dazzling ensemble!
