Rookie Dave Scatchard wore this Canucks road jersey in 1997-98 when he had 24 points and 165 penalty minutes in 76 games. The Canucks debuted their new Orca logo and navy blue color scheme that season and the team's 1998 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn onto the right breast of the team's new road jersey. The CCM and size 56 fly tags in the neck are intact, as are the fight strap and the laundry tag inside the left seam. A six-inch snaking team repair on the back of the right cuff is a highlight of this jersey's nice game use, along with a team repair on the left elbow, a slashing stick mark on the front of the left cuff, a board burn hole that shows through to the white of the right elbow gusset and a circular team repair on the right shoulder. Good inner pilling in the sleeves completes this beauty, which comes along with a letter of authenticity and NHL/MeiGray Group documentation. [red] addendum : The jersey comes with the Certificate from Meigray only and not the letter.[/red]
