Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
This stunning Kings alternate jersey was worn by Glen Murray during the 2001-02 season. The Kings honored the memory of team scouts Garnet "Ace" Bailey and Mark Bavis, both killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, with the "AM" patch that is sewn onto the left breast of this jersey. The 2002 NHL All-Star Game is sewn onto the right breast of this purple laceup. A letter of authenticity from the Kings and documentation from the NHL/MeiGray Group program are also included. The fight strap is intact and a "Los Angeles Kings 2001-02 Set 1" patch is sewn onto the inner tail. The "Made in Canada" fly tag in the neck has a size 58 tag sewn onto the bottom. There are minor board burns to note, otherwise this beauty is in great shape.
