Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

Adam Oates said goodbye to Brett Hull when he left St. Louis and hello to Cam Neely when he arrived in Boston. The results for the playmaking center were similar as he moved from the Blues to the Bruins during the 1991-92 season as Oates finished with 99 points in 80 games overall between the two teams. This Bruins road jersey has its original Center Ice Authentic neck tag and NHL 75th anniversary patch on the right breast. "Custom Crafted Official Boston Bruins 2nd Set 1991-92 Season" is screened in black onto the inner tail. The Maska fly tag in the neck remains, as does the size 52 fly tag that has been sewn over in black thread by nameplate stitching. The fight strap has been cut off at its base, and the jersey exhibits great use with a nice two-inch vertical team repair on the lower right front of the jersey and circular repairs on the lower left yellow front hem and right rear hem. A board burn on the shoulder is to note, along with team repairs on both elbows, including major surgery on the left elbow.
