Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim recovered nicely from the fiasco of the "Wild Wing" third jersey by creating a pair of stylish home and away alternate jerseys. This teal alternate road jersey was worn by Kevin Todd in 1997-98 and it comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Mighty Ducks and documentation from the NHL/MeiGray Group registry. A "1997-98 Set 2" patch with the Mighty Ducks logo is sewn inside above the reverse of the NHL logo on the rear hem. The fight strap has purple thread where it was sewn over by the lower left corner of the reverse of the "2" in the 12 on the back of the jersey. There is a team repair on the right sleeve and nice pilling all over. The laundry instruction and size 54 tags remain in the left seam, and Nike size 54 and NHL Center Ice Authentic tags in the neck are stitched over in white thread by individual letters sewn across the back shoulders of the jersey.
