Incredible New Jersey Devils jersey was worn by rookie center Scott Gomez during the 2000 Stanley Cup final win over Dallas. Scott has signed this video matched beauty in black sharpie between the numbers in the "23" in red-and-black twill sewn on the back of the jersey. Gomez claimed the Calder Trophy with 70 points during the regular season before adding 10 more during the Devils' playoff run, including one assist in the six-game final win over the defending Cup champion Stars. "NHL 2000" and "2000 Stanley Cup" patches are sewn on the right breast of Gomez's finals gamer with Pro Player tag and size 54 fly tag sewn into the neck. "Custom Crafted" lettering is screened onto the inner rear tail along with "New Jersey Devils 2nd Set 1999-00 Season", the Devils' logo and NHL 2000 crest. Slash mark through red-black-and-white twill Devils' crest sewn on the front has yielded a clear video match to Gomez wearing this jersey during the 2000 final. Unrepaired slash cut beneath the"2" on the right sleeve and stick marks on the left cuff offer further evidence of appropriately light game wear. NHL/MeiGray registry documents accompany this great Gomez rookie Stanley Cup jersey, as well as two LOAs.
