Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

The dazzling Jerome Iginla recorded his first 50-goal season in 2001-02 and has gone on to lead his Calgary Flames in scoring many times since. This is Jerome's black airknit Koho jersey with the flaming alternate's "A" on the left breast, a tip of the hat to the Atlanta Flames. Neck tag displays the Canadian flag and size "56" with the Sport Maska label in lower hem. The game wear is easy to spot, especially for a black jersey, including dozens of marks and board burns at the elbows with cuffs and more marks littering the lower front. A series of six smaller unrepaired holes appears high up on the right shoulder and a few more holes can be found lower on the same arm. Set tag in the tail has the Flames logo and reads "Calgary Flames Hockey Club, 2001-2002 NHL Season, Black Jersey, Set 1, #3 of 3". The letter of authenticity from the Flames on team letterhead is signed by their Director of Merchandising, Kip Reghenas. [red]Addendum : This is the actual jersey that Jarome Iginla wore when he recorded his 50th goal of the 2001-02 season. [/red]
