Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Outstanding Detroit Red Wings gamer from the franchise's 60th season in 1985-86 was worn by offensive defenceman Mike McEwen. Highlight of this game worn beauty is the remarkable four-color "Red Wings 60th Season" logo that is embroidered directly onto the left shoulder. Signed by Detroit as a free agent, McEwen had 10 points through 29 games with the Red Wings in 1985-86 before he was traded to the Rangers in December. "Eastside" and "CCM" logos are embroidered onto either side of the rear tail. Fight strap is intact though no further tagging remains. Surname and #7 in red twill are stitched on the back, while white twill numbers are sewn on each sleeve. Very light game wear includes faint marks above left elbow.
