Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

Mid-Eighties Quebec Nordiques game jersey worn by 548-goal Hall-of-Famer Michel Goulet features the sought-after Rendez-Vous 87 patch up on the right shoulder. This battered gamer sports the tri-colored tackle twill Nords logo sewn onto the chest, while everything else is screened. Well-worn Maska knit with remnants of a collar tag stitched above the "86 04" born-on tag in the neck. This example was most certainly worn by Michel Goulet late in the 1985-86 season or early in the 1986-87 campaign. The outer tail has the smaller embroidered CCM logo in red/red/blue below a series of six screened Fleur-de-lis. Incredible game wear throughout with hundreds of stick slashes, marks and board burns and visible interior pilling inside the sleeves. Numerous smaller unrepaired holes show up alongside 12 team repairs. Cracking and peeling of the numbers and Fleur-de-lis is evident in some areas but is very minor, certainly not extensive, as can be the case with these screened Nords jerseys. A hammered uniform from one of the most prolific goal scorers of the Eighties. [red]Addendum; Comes with a letter of provenance and a LOA.[/red]
