Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
St. Paul, Minnesota native Bob Paradise spent parts of two seasons with the Capitals, following stints with Atlanta and Pittsburgh. Bob suited up for 22 games in 1976-77, with this predominently red Caps road jersey tagged in the neck by Wilson, the company tag indicating size 48. Stretchy mesh jersey features nice tackle twill numbers, letters and stars, all sewn-on, while the striping is screened. That's where the light game use shows up, in the way of a couple of scrapes on the front and a couple of black stick marks at the right cuff. Light interior pilling (armpits, elbows) is also to mention. A letter of authenticity from Joe Tomon will be included with this attractive jersey from the good old 1970s. Caps didn't win a lot but they were well decked out!
