Striking blue WHA Houston Aeros jersey was worn by defenceman Bill Prentice during the 1974-75 season. Prentice got his name on the Avco World Trophy for a second straight season as the Aeros ? led by the Howes, Gordie, Mark and Marty ? swept Quebec in four in the WHA playoff final to defend their title. Size 48 Wilson tag is sewn inside the neck and "Prentice" is spelled out in white twill letters sewn onto a blue nameplate. "AEROS" is spelled out in cascading letters sewn on the front, white stars are sewn onto both shoulders and #22 is sewn on the back and both sleeves, all in white twill. To note are tears in the upper part of the "E" and "S" in the team name letters on the front, as well as the upper part of the left "2" on the back. Wear includes a dried bloodstain on the front tail and great inner pilling.
