Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
These ever-popular plastic marbles were premiums issued one-a-box in Post cereal products during the 1968-69 season. Featuring photos of players from both the Maple Leafs and Canadiens, the complete set of 30 marbles, in EX/MT or better condition, include the likes of Beliveau, Keon, Ullman, Bower, Cournoyer, Worsley, Vachon and other great Leafs and Habs players. The marbles could be used to play a game of hockey on the plastic playing board / display rink that one could send away for. Rather difficult to find, the game board remains in EX condition with no cracks or broken pieces on it. The original dice set completes this lot.
