Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Fred Taylor, the legend who earned his "Cyclone" nickname for his furious rushes while playing defence for Ottawa and Renfrew, is captured here on his C56 rookie card. It displays much better than the "30 Good 2" grade it received from the SGC company, with bright colors and an unsoiled front. The very minor paper loss on the back, which does not affect any of the text, explains the grade, along with a light crease in the lower left corner. Cyclone also played center and rover and is the man asked to turn the sod for the Hockey Hall of Fame building. One of the grandest of them all!
