Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Early morning bag skates and on-ice strategy sessions are the often-unseen rituals of a National Hockey League franchise. This collection of three uniforms, worn during team practices by members of the Boston Bruins, represents the countless hours of hard work that goes into preparing for the games we watch. The white example, by CCM in size 58, boasts loads of sticks marks and slashes on the lower front. The black and teal versions are both made by Jofa in size 58 and also show evidence of practice use in the form of stick marks and board burns, but to a lesser degree than the wear on white jersey. All three display the NHL's Center Ice emblem on the right breast and feature the tri-color tackle twill Bruins crest on the chest. Hang 'em in the closet or wear 'em out on the ice!
