Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

Talented two-way forward Bill Guerin wore this white Boston Bruins gamer after he was acquired from Edmonton early in the 2000-01 campaign. Guerin could have put in for overtime as he appeared in a total of 85 games during the 2000-01 season, recording a career high 85 points, including 63 in 64 games with the Bruins. It didn't take long for Bill to establish his leadership credentials during the first of his two seasons in Boston, as evidenced by the alternate captain's "A" sewn onto the left breast of his game worn jersey. Size 58 and CCM fly tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is intact. "Official Boston Bruins Game Worn Jersey 2000-2001 Season" with the Bruins' hub logo is screened inside the jersey behind the crest along with equipment manager Pete Henderson's facsimile signature. An unrepaired hole above the left elbow, several tears, nicks and holes on the right sleeve and extensive stick marks all over the jersey offer evidence of fantastic game use. Comes with a Bruins LOA on team letterhead.
