Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

Formidable game gear here, including a red Canadiens road jersey worn by defenceman Sheldon Souray during his first full season in Montreal after coming over from the Devils. Sheldon missed 30 games because of injuries, so expected lighter wear on this size 58 knit jersey, with however a nice big black hook/slash mark in the Habs tackle twill crest, a few marks on the sleeves and interior pilling near the fight strap. Meanwhile, a pair of Louisville TPS HG1 model leather gloves have "Souray" embroidered into each cuff and exhibit light game use. They're joined by another pair (no manufacturer's name, no game use) with Sheldon's surname screened on the cuffs. Beauty red, white and blue ensemble.
