Visions of Montreal's Stanley Cup triumph in 1993 and the overtime heroics of John LeClair come flowing back to Canadiens fans with this Habs road jersey, worn by the big leftwinger who became the first player ever to score overtime winners in two consecutive games in the Cup finals, doing it in games three and four, wearing this uniform! John's second winning goal in Los Angeles gave Montreal a commanding 3-1 series lead, with the Canadiens wrapping it up two nights later on home ice. With the Stanley Cup finals patch at the right breast and a Maska Ultrafil tag in the neck, the jersey shows nice game use; half a dozen light burns and four small holes on the right sleeve, marks and three small holes on the left, a couple of stick marks on the front, pilling along the back hem and interior sleeve pilling. Significant jersey donned by the only American to ever score 50-or-more goals in three consecutive seasons will tempt many. [red] Addendum; This is not the jersey John Leclair wore when he scored the two overtime goals during the 1993 Stanley Cup finals. Another jersey sold by our company a few years back was actually photo matched to the Overtime goals game tape. This jersey is believed to be the second jersey that was stitched and produced for Leclair to wear during the 1993 playoffs and Stanley Cup finals.[/red]
