Another terrific jersey from the start of the Canadiens' 1992-93 Stanley Cup championship season, this first set Canadiens white home jersey was donned by the captain himself, Guy Carbonneau. Three-time winner of the Selke Trophy as top defensive forward, Carbo also averaged 20 goals a season for most of his career with the Habs, and was the kind of warrior and leader a team needs to go all the way. Guy's size 52 CCM jersey has a Maska Ultrafil tag in the collar, while a 1993 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn over an NHL 75 years patch at the right breast. Considerable game use is evidenced by the dozen team repairs on the sleeves (8-right, 4-left), where several red, as well as blue, paint transfers appear. Five small circular repairs on the back and good interior pilling are also noteworthy. Donned with pride by a wonderful two-way centerman and Canadiens' great.
